Aline Courtois, PhD, est maître de conférences au Department of Education de l’Université de Bath (Royaume-Uni) et coéditrice de la revue Internationale Studies in Sociology of Education. Elle est membre de plusieurs centres de recherche, dont le Centre for Global Higher Education à Oxford. Elle est l’autrice de Elite Schooling and Social Inequality. Privilege and Power in Ireland’s Top Private Schools (Palgrave, 2018) et elle a codirigé le collectif The Future of Cross-Border Academic Mobility and Immobility. Power, Knowledge and Agency (Bloomsbury, 2025), en plus d’avoir publié de nombreux articles issus de ses recherches sur l’éducation des élites, l’internationalisation et la mobilité des étudiants, ainsi que sur la mobilité académique et le travail précaire.​
